Matt Martindale

Matt Martindale is one of the original members and long time lead singer, guitar player, and writer for the now disbanded Cooder Graw. The four-piece band from Texas generated a considerable buzz in the Texas Music scene during its seven-year history and were known for their own unique version of loud, raucous country with the writing chops to make it great.
Now, Martindale has headed out on his own. Matt has penned such Texas anthems as Llano Estacado, Better Days, Lifetime Stand, Clarksdale, That Girl Crystal, Two More Tears in Texas, and many notable others. He has recorded with the legendary Johnny Bush and Willie Nelson, Asleep at the Wheel, Pat Green, and Kelly Willis, and has two songs in the Jamie Foxx movie, "Held Up,"appears in the independent film "Coyote Funeral," and has the background vocals on the new Pat Green Dodge commercial.
Music fans rejoice. Martindale has taken his pen out on the road once more, with new beginnings. The Matt Martindale Band, is taking the new show on the road.
